Letter from the Editor-In-Chief
It is a pleasure to present the second issue of the seventh volume of the Spanish Journal of Soil Science. It contains five articles by several international authors that deal with organic matter dynamics an soil rehabilitation using biochar, plant nutrition and soil architecture. We also acknowledge the letter to the editor by Philippe Baveye, who proposes several ideas for a debate on the present systems for scientific evaluation and journal quality, which we are sure will be useful for the discussion on these issues.
On behalf of the editorial team, we thank the authors for sending the manuscripts, the guest editors for their rigor in the selection and review of manuscripts, the referees for the quality of their reviews, and the team Universia for its professionalism.
Sincerely,
Rosa M. Poch
