Letter from the Editor-In-Chief

It is a pleasure to present the third issue of volume nine of the Spanish Journal of Soil Science. Three of the articles of this issue deal with different practices for improving soil quality (fertilization with pig slurry, application of polyacrylamide to control erosion, application of organic residues and biochar), and are accompanied by a characterization of pedodiversity in arid zones and an example of soil education using an afforested ecosystem. As always, on behalf of the Editorial Team, we thank the authors for sending the manuscripts, the referees (who are listed in this issue) for the quality of their reviews, and finally the team Universia for its professionalism in managing and editing the platform. All this is essential to ensure the quality of the journal on a continous basis.

Sincerely,

Rosa M. Poch
